Trash and Recycling Schedule:
Trash
Trash is collected every Monday and Thursday. Place items at the curbside by 6 a.m. the day of the scheduled collection service., with the wheels of the cart toward the house and the arrow on the cart pointed toward the street. Place the carts four (4) feet from one another and objects like mailboxes and parked vehicles.
Recycling
Recycling is collected every Wednesday.
Yard Waste
Yard Waste is collected on Monday and shall be limited to a maximum of four (4) cubic yards and a maximum of ten (10) bags per resident per week. Residents are required to tie, bag or bundle yard waste. It can be placed at the curb loose, in a biodegradable bag, in a homeowner-provided container or plastic bag. Branches and limbs should be no longer than four (4) feet in length, and six (6) inches in diameter, and must be less than 50 pounds and stacked uniformly. Any over-sized yard waste piles will be tagged with the option to have it collected at a price of $20 per cubic yard.
Items not considered yard waste include wood fencing, landscape timbers, flower pots, yard decoration, mulch and dirt.
Bulk Waste & White Goods
Should residents have the need for bulk collection (i.e. furniture, couches, appliances etc.), residents should call GFL directly at 386-222-0693. Residents will contract directly with GFL for the removal of all bulk items. GFL’s charge for bulk items is $20.00 for each item or, $20.00 per cubic yard for excessive amounts. GFL’s preferred method of payment will be credit card only. Please contact GFL directly for this service.
Rates & Fees
Residential Solid Waste Service is charged monthly at a rate of $31.86 (starting October 2024) per set of cans.
Commercial Solid Waste Service is charged monthly at a rate of $35.67 (starting October 2024) per set of cans.
Holiday Schedule
There will NOT be trash pickup on the following holidays:
- New Years Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
