The Howey Library is partnering with the Howey Music Series in bringing music to the library and local community.
On January 25th at 11am join us as we welcome Wendy Offerle from Gainesville, Florida. Wendy is a Elementary music specialist and will be sharing her expertise with kids and adults.
Wendy class is entitled "Musical Playtime for Developing Young Minds". Bring your preschooler to a fun session that will bring out the creativity and giggles in all.
Engaging in music and movement activities helps young children develop socially, emotionally, mentally, physically and creatively. Literacy development is also promoted through music and movement. Some activities will incorporate children's literature. As young children learn to make music by singing and playing instruments together, they create important contexts for the early learning of vital life skills such as corporation, collaboration, and group work
