TRASH SERVICE (Update 9/25/2024 at 4:00 p.m.)

The Town's provider for trash service, GFL, will be picking up curbside trash service as normally scheduled on Thursday, September 26th, 2024. 

 

Citizen Information Line

The Citizens Information Line (CIL) will be open and available to assist callers on Thursday, Sept. 25th, 2024 from the hours of 7 am to 7 pm.

Residents needing information should call 352-253-9999.

 

TOWN CLOSURES

Town Hall Office will be closed on Thursday, Sept. 26th.

Marianne Beck Memorial Library will be closed Thursday, Sept. 26th.

All Town offices are expected to reopen at normal times on Friday, Sept. 27th. If the storm damage is more extensive than expected and would delay the reopening of Town Hall or the Library, it will be communicated on this page.

LAKE COUNTY SANDBAG LOCATIONS (updated 9/26/2024 at 9am)

These sites will be open on Thursday, Sept. 25th, 2024  from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or until weather conditions become unsafe. Sand and bags will be available on-site. Residents should bring their own shovels and must fill their own bags. 

Residents who need help filling their sandbags can visit one of the three locations marked with asterisks (**). Those locations will have assistance on-site.
