Citizen Information Line

The Citizens Information Line (CIL) will be open and available to assist callers on Monday, Oct. 7th, 2024 from the hours of 7 am to 10 pm. today.

Trash Service (Updated 10/08/2024 12:45pm)

Due to Hurricane Milton there will be no recycling pickup on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. The next scheduled recycling pickup will be on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.

Due to Hurricane Milton there will be no trash service on Thursday, October 10, 2024. The next Scheduled trash collection will be on Monday, October, 14, 2024. 

 

 

TOWN CLOSURES

Town Hall Office will be closed on Wednesday, October 9th, and on Thursday, Oct. 10th.

Marianne Beck Memorial Library will be closed on Wednesday, October 9th, and on Thursday, Oct. 10th..

All Town offices are expected to reopen at normal times on Friday, Oct. 11th. If the storm damage is more extensive than expected and would delay the reopening of Town Hall or the Library, it will be communicated on this page.

 

LAKE COUNTY SANDBAG LOCATIONS (updated 10/7/2024 at 4pm)

County sandbag locations are open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. There is a limit of 10 bags per day per household. Sand and bags will be available on-site - residents should bring their own shovels and will need to fill their own bags. Assistance will be onsite at two locations for those who need help filling and loading their bags. 

Residents who need help filling their sandbags can visit one of the two locations marked with asterisks (**). Those locations will have assistance on-site.

Yard Debris (Updated 10/7/2024 at 04:00pm)

To help residents dispose of yard debris and household garbage before the storm, Lake County is opening two drop-off sites outside of their regular schedules. The Paisley location (25014 Rancho Lane, Paisley) and the Log House (10435 Log House Road, Clermont) will be open today from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Central Facility will also be open for regular business.

 

Residents looking to drop off yard debris can do so for free until facilities close due to the storm. As always, Lake County residents can also bring household waste to our facilities at no cost.

Shelters (Updated 10/8/2024 10:45am)

Lake County will open 15 shelters for those who need accommodations during the storm. The shelters will open Tuesday, Oct. 08, at 12 p.m. Residents are encouraged to bring necessary supplies such as medication, bedding, and a pet carrier or crate.
