Town Hall and Library Closure Notice for Independence Day
In observance of Independence Day, both the Town Hall and the Library will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2024.
This holiday marks an important moment in our nation's history, and we encourage all residents to celebrate safely and responsibly. Normal operating hours will resume on Friday, July 5, 2024.
Independence Day Thursday Holiday Solid Waste Schedule:
No pickup of Garbage or Recycling on Thursday, July 4th.
The next pickup of garbage will be Monday, July 8th, 2024.
For residents who need garbage pick-up sooner, a household may opt to bring garbage to the Lake County Landfill located in Tavares (13130 County Landfill Rd., Tavares FL 32778). Call ahead for hours of operation at 352-343-3776 (this is not a town facility).
