Attention Residents of Howey-in-the-Hills

We are excited to announce the upcoming Election Qualifying window for Seats 4 and 5 on the Town Council! This is a fantastic opportunity for those passionate about our community to step forward and make a difference.

Election Qualifying Window:

Begins: Noon on August 5th

Closes: Noon on August 16th

If you have ever considered serving on the Town Council, now is your chance to get involved. By running for a seat, you can help shape the future of our town and represent the voices of your fellow residents.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a registered voter in Howey-in-the-Hills
  • Shall be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be a resident of the Town for at least one year prior to the first day of the qualifying period
  • Any person convicted of a felony shall be ineligible and disqualified from seeking election to an office
  • No more than one family member may hold a seat on the Council
